The electric valve actuator is a kind of control electrical mechanism that controls various valve switches through various power supplies. After use, it can realize remote control and position the valve at different angles. In the process of use, the electric actuator of the valve with stable performance generally does not stop the rotation of the motor, but it can be stopped in the following cases. Everyone must pay attention when using the electric actuator of the valve.

What causes the motor of the electric actuator of the valve to stop rotating?

1st. Low power supply voltage

The electric actuator of the valve is driven by electricity and has certain requirements for voltage. If the power supply voltage used is relatively low, the electric actuator of the valve will not get the required torque, which will overload the motor and then cause the motor to stop rotating.

2nd. Torque limiting mechanism setting error

If the torque limiting mechanism is wrongly set when using the electric actuator of the valve, it will be greater than the stop torque, which will result in continuous excessive torque and stop the motor. Therefore, the torque limiting mechanism of the electric actuator of the valve must be set according to the specification requirements.

3rd. The temperature is too high

If the operating environment temperature of the valve electric actuator is too high, the heat capacity of the motor will be reduced relatively, and excessive heat will cause great damage to the motor and even cause the motor to stop rotating. In addition, if the electric actuator of the valve is used intermittently like inching, the heat generated during use will also be accumulated. Once the allowable temperature rise of the motor is exceeded, the motor will also stop rotating.

As the motor is an important part of the electric actuator of the valve, once the motor stops rotating, the actuator will be unusable, and these points can cause the motor to stop rotating. Therefore, the honest and reliable manufacturer of the electric actuator of the valve hopes that when using the actuator, you must pay attention to using a power supply with appropriate voltage, controlling the temperature, and setting the torque limiting mechanism correctly.
